Meet Jesus 2005

Asking Questions is the key to understanding

Welcome to Meet Jesus 2005!

Well, the event 'Meet Jesus 2005' is over and was a success, but people will still continue to meet Jesus. Guy Mller, the leader of Bournemouth Family Church wrote the following immediately after the mission was over.

"I feel like a spy returning from the Promised Land saying ‘there is wonderful fruit to be taken’. Everything you would want for a town, local church and the individual Christian, was tasted at Meet Jesus 2005. A morning programme of training and equipping included local and international speakers preaching on our glorious gospel and its powerful effect on society. Over 400 delegates spilled out into the town to evangelise inviting many to our evening meetings. Each evening evangelists (Ken Matthews, Lex Loizides, Adrian Holloway) spoke to up to1700 people with Lex knowing an amazing anointing to pray for the sick, including the healing of a lady suffering from Parkinson’s. Over the four days we have recorded over 150 men, women and children turning to salvation, many miracles and many baptised in the Holy Spirit. Truly there has been great joy in Bournemouth this past week.
The beacon that was lit 2 years ago has had more fuel added to it. May torches be taken from this event and fuel faith in your town or city for major evangelistic outbreak and stadiums to be filled."

THE REMAINDER OF THIS WEB SITE REMAINS AS IT WAS BEFORE THE MISSION, BUT THERE WILL BE UPDATES!!

SO THIS WAS HOW IT READ JUST BEFORE THE EVENT!!

In July 2003 a team of 540 Christians from more than 40 evangelical churches signed up as delegates to serve our town with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. We know that more than 50 people made first time commitments to Christ at that event, and others responded even over the next 12 months following the challenge of that event. There was a number of significant healings and testimonies of miracles taking place.

Bournemouth Family Church and Bournemouth Community Church have booked the Bournemouth Football Stadium again – June 23/26th 2005 with the same objectives. We believe that God wants to mobilize and empower Christians from all over Bournemouth area to be that City on a Hill, that Salt, that Light in the Darkness. We will be bolstered by the support of believers from around our nation and beyond in this effort.

We aim to train on the ‘How To’ of mission, to serve our communities and young people, to spread a joyful message of hope to our nation. We will be preaching the wonderful good news of Jesus Christ crucified, risen and alive today. We are praying that God will draw many to Himself with forgiveness, healing, deliverance and restoration. Jesus said, "You will be my witnesses ……… to the ends of the earth". Why don’t you come and join us in Bournemouth in this venture of faith?

Worship will be led by our own musicians, Matt Redman and Phatfish.

On Sunday evening the 26th, Phatfish are in concert; for more concert information go to 'programme' and for concert tickets go to 'getinvolved'.
